ALVIN CURRAN 'The Works' Vinyl LP (1980 Ambient/Minimal)

Year of release: 1980

One long piece across both sides mixes a Serge synthesizer, piano and voice with sounds Alvin Curran collected: grazing cows, a Rome to Florence express, cicadas and a horsefly on a windowpane. It builds from ambient calm to raga-like chanting before rolling away on the Berlin U-Bahn.

Condition: New/Sealed/Mint
