SARAH DAVACHI 'Gave In Rest' Vinyl LP (2018 Electronic Drone)

Sarah Davachi shaped Gave in Rest around the hours of the monastic day, drawing on medieval plainchant and Renaissance polyphony. Recorder, violin, Mellotron, voice and piano are stretched into slow, glowing drones through tape delay and reverb.
