NICO 'Desertshore' 180g Vinyl LP (1970 Avant Garde)
Year of release: 1970
John Cale produced and arranged this around Nico's droning harmonium, with spare viola and piano. Her son Ari sings 'Le Petit Chevalier', and 'Janitor of Lunacy' is a stark, chilling opener.
