GILLIAN WELCH 'Soul Journey' Audiophile Vinyl LP

Year of release: 2003

Brighter and looser than her earlier work, this adds drums, electric bass and a band feel to Gillian Welch's Appalachian music. 'Look at Miss Ohio' is a bittersweet shrug about running from responsibility, built on the line "I wanna do right, but not right now".
