MICHAEL HURLEY 'Parsnip Snips' Vinyl LP (1995 Folk/Americana)

Year of release: 1996

Hurley made these home recordings on a mono Wollensak tape recorder between 1965 and 1972, songs meant for a second Folkways album that never came out. 'U.S. Space Weevils' and 'Hoot Owls' are spare, funny and odd, the sound of a true folk eccentric.
