NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN & MICHAEL BROOK 'Night Song' 180g Vinyl LP (1996 Pakistani Folk/Electronic)

Year of release: 1996

Six years after Mustt Mustt, the great qawwali singer and Canadian guitarist Michael Brook reunited at Peter Gabriel's Real World studios. Brook's 'infinite guitar', which sustains notes endlessly, hangs in the air while Nusrat's voice soars and improvises, and the title track and 'My Comfort Remains' are spellbinding.
