CAKE 'Fashion Nugget' Remastered 180g Vinyl LP (1996 Alt. Rock)

Year of release: 1996

Vince DiFiore's mariachi-style trumpet and John McCrea's deadpan talk-singing make this Sacramento band unlike anyone else, and 'The Distance' became a huge hit. Their dry, slowed-down cover of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive' is a cheeky delight.
