GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR 'Yanqui U.X.O.' 180g Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 2002

Steve Albini recorded this in Chicago, and the band made their politics plain: the title refers to American unexploded bombs, and the back of the sleeve maps how major record labels were tied to arms makers. Three long suites, including 'Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls', rise and collapse in slow, grinding waves.
