NEGATIVLAND 'Escape From Noise' Vinyl LP (SST 1987 Experimental/Noise)
Year of release: 1987
The sound-collage pranksters mix samples, found sounds and absurd songs on this SST album, with 'Christianity Is Stupid' later at the centre of a hoax about a murder. It's funny, unsettling and very clever.
