Director Mike Mills made a companion short film starring Alicia Vikander, and he helped shape the album too, pushing Matt Berninger to share the microphone. Gail Ann Dorsey, Bowie's long-time bassist, Lisa Hannigan and Sharon Van Etten sing alongside him, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus adds a soft, choral glow.
