CHRIS CONNELLY 'Phenobarb Bambalam' Remastered Vinyl LP (Ministry Revolting Cocks)

Year of release: 1992

The Ministry and Revolting Cocks singer pushed further into crooning on his second solo album, closer to Scott Walker and Bowie than industrial noise. Strings, piano and his rich, quavering voice turn it into a set of velvet-lined torch songs.
