ARCHIE SHEPP 'Yasmina, A Black Woman' Vinyl LP (1969 Jazz/Avant-garde)

Cut in Paris for the BYG Actuel label, this gathers Archie Shepp with members of the Art Ensemble of Chicago and drummers including Sunny Murray and Philly Joe Jones. The twenty-minute title track is a joyous, chaotic ritual of horns and percussion.
