DEXTER GORDON 'Go!' BLUE NOTE CLASSIC 180g Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1962

Dexter Gordon reportedly considered this his favourite of his own albums, and Sonny Clark's piano, Butch Warren's bass and Billy Higgins' drums give him a perfect launching pad. 'Cheese Cake' swings hard, and 'I Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry' is a gorgeous ballad.
