HEATH BROTHERS 'Marchin' On' All Analog Remastered 180g Vinyl LP (1976 Jazz)

Year of release: 1976

Percy Heath of the Modern Jazz Quartet, saxophonist Jimmy Heath and drummer Albert 'Tootie' Heath formed their own band, and this early album shows their family chemistry. Percy plays a small cello-like bass in places, adding an unusual singing tone to the swinging grooves.
