CARCASS 'Heartwork' WHITE Vinyl 2LP (1993 Death Metal)

Year of release: 1993

H.R. Giger's sculpture 'Life Support' is on the cover, and the Liverpool band traded their gore-soaked grindcore for sleek, catchy melodic death metal. Bill Steer and Michael Amott's harmonised guitars on the title track and 'Buried Dreams' became a blueprint for a whole scene.
