DOROTHY CARTER 'Troubadour' Vinyl LP (1976 Folk)

Year of release: 1976

Dorothy Carter's hammered dulcimer and psaltery ring like bells on this debut of traditional songs and spare, meditative instrumentals. It sounds like a medieval minstrel who wandered into 1970s America and decided to stay.
