NOAH HOWARD 'The Black Ark' Vinyl LP (1972 Free Jazz)

Recorded in 1969, The Black Ark is fiery but tuneful free jazz from alto saxophonist Noah Howard, with Arthur Doyle's wild tenor, Earl Cross on trumpet and Juma Sultan on congas. Its four Howard originals range from a mutant blues to a lyrical ballad.
