B-52's 'Mesopotamia' CLEAR/ORANGE SPLATTER Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1982

Talking Heads' David Byrne produced this mini-album, pushing the band toward deeper, funkier grooves with horns and percussion. The title track and 'Deep Sleep' are hypnotic and strange, a bold detour from their usual beehive-haired fun.
