DOME (Wire) '1' Vinyl LP (1980 Experimental/Post-Punk)
Year of release: 1980
When Wire went on hiatus, Bruce Gilbert and Graham Lewis formed Dome and made this, stripping post-punk down to drones, loops and strange, repetitive rhythms. It's cold, minimal and quietly mesmerising.
