HOLGER HILLER 'Ein Bundel Faulnis in der Grube' Vinyl LP (1984 Experimental New Wave)
Year of release: 1983
After leaving the German new wave band Palais Schaumburg, Holger Hiller built this from sampled sounds and cut-up fragments, years before sampling became common. It's witty, jarring and unlike anything else from the time.
