APHRODITE'S CHILD '666' Remastered Vinyl 2LP (Vangelis)

Year of release: 1972

Vangelis built this sprawling double album around the Book of Revelation, and it's prog at its most apocalyptic. Demis Roussos sings, Greek actress Irene Papas performs the infamous, ecstatic chant of '∞', and the band had split before it was even released.
