STONEWALL s/t Vinyl LP (1976 Psych Rock)

Year of release: 1976

Cut around 1972 in late-night jam sessions at a Manhattan studio, these heavy blues-rock songs sat unheard until Morris Levy's tax-shelter label Tiger Lily put them out in 1976, without telling the band. A Les Paul through a Marshall, howling Hammond organ and harmonica give it a Zeppelin-meets-Deep Purple roar, and 'Outer Spaced' is the wildest trip.
