BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 'Born In The USA' Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1984

Annie Leibovitz shot the famous cover of Bruce's back and jeans against the Stars and Stripes, and the title song, about a Vietnam veteran's anger, was widely mistaken for a patriotic anthem. Max Weinberg's booming drums and Roy Bittan's glittering synths made it his biggest-sounding record, with seven American top ten singles including 'Dancing in the Dark' and 'Glory Days'.
