ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA 'Out Of The Blue' Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 1977

Jeff Lynne wrote this whole double album in about three and a half weeks in a Swiss chalet, and the endless rain outside became side three's 'Concerto for a Rainy Day'. The suite ends with the sun bursting through on 'Mr. Blue Sky', and Shusei Nagaoka's gleaming spaceship cover completes the sci-fi pop fantasy.
