GERRY RAFFERTY 'Snakes And Ladders' Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1980

The follow-up to Night Owl keeps the soft-rock polish of 'Baker Street', but Gerry Rafferty's Scottish roots show through on the single 'Royal Mile (Sweet Darlin')', named after the main street of Edinburgh's Old Town. 'Bring It All Home', another single, has a warm, homesick glow.
