BOOKER T & THE MG'S 'Soul Dressing' CLEAR Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1965

Their second album is a run of crisp, economical instrumentals, with Al Jackson Jr.'s drums snapping like a whip under Booker's organ. The title track and Steve Cropper's razor-sharp guitar make it a lesson in less-is-more soul.
