ISLEY BROTHERS 'Givin' It Back' 180g CLEAR Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1971

Jimi Hendrix had played guitar in the Isley Brothers' band before he was famous, and his influence runs all through this album of rock and folk covers. Their long medley of Neil Young's 'Ohio' and Hendrix's 'Machine Gun' is a powerful protest, and Stephen Stills' 'Love the One You're With' gets a funky makeover.
