Art Neville's organ, Leo Nocentelli's guitar, George Porter Jr.'s bass and Zigaboo Modeliste's drums lock into the leanest funk ever made on this instrumental debut. 'Cissy Strut' became a New Orleans anthem and a hip hop sampling favourite.
