'HALLOWEEN 2' Soundtrack (John Carpenter & Alan Howarth) 180g Vinyl LP (1981)

Year of release: 1981

Having handed over the director's chair for this one, John Carpenter stayed on to rework his famous theme with Alan Howarth, swapping the original's bare piano for a wall of glacial synths and organ. The hospital-set sequel feels colder and heavier for it, picking up the very night Michael Myers vanished.
