'HEREDITARY' Soundtrack (Colin Stetson) 180g GREEN Vinyl 2LP (2018)

Year of release: 2018

Much of what sounds like synths and strings here is really Colin Stetson's saxophones and clarinets, played with circular breathing and run through effects. The result is one of the most frightening scores of recent years, a grinding, breathing dread that builds right through Ari Aster's family nightmare.
