'NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD' Soundtrack GHOUL GREEN/BLUE Vinyl 2LP (1968)

Year of release: 1968

George Romero's shoestring zombie film had no money for a composer, so the crew pulled cues from a stock music library, some already heard in 1950s sci-fi B-movies. Shrieking strings, eerie electronic tones and dramatic brass give it the jolting, newsreel feel that still makes it so frightening.
