'TAXI DRIVER' Soundtrack (Bernard Herrmann) 180g Vinyl LP (1976)

Year of release: 1976

Hours after finishing this score, Bernard Herrmann died in his sleep, making it his final work. A smoky, seductive alto saxophone drifts over drums and dissonant brass, capturing both the lonely glow of night-time New York and Travis Bickle's growing menace.
