'ZOMBI' (Dawn of The Dead) Soundtrack (Goblin) Vinyl LP (1978)

Year of release: 1978

Italian audiences knew Romero's Dawn of the Dead as Zombi, and this is the score Dario Argento's cut gave Europe, Goblin's prog-rock in full flight. The title theme's thudding bass and synths hit like a horde breaking through the mall doors, and 'L'alba dei morti viventi' drips with menace.
