FELA KUTI 'Underground System' Vinyl LP (1992 Afrobeat)

Year of release: 1992

The last new album released in his lifetime, its title track praises Thomas Sankara, Burkina Faso's assassinated president, and damns the leaders who stood by. The grooves are long and stately, with Egypt 80's horns blazing over stuttering guitars.
