BRIAN ENO & J. PETER SCHWALM 'Drawn From Life' Vinyl LP (2001 Ambient)

Year of release: 2001

Eno heard Frankfurt drummer J. Peter Schwalm's album as Slop Shop and invited him to jam, and these pieces grew from their daily sessions together. Slow strings and drifting electronics sit over quietly building rhythms, with Laurie Anderson and CAN's Holger Czukay, who plays an IBM Dictaphone, among the guests. On 'Bloom' you can hear Eno's young daughters chattering.
