JOHN BENDER 'Pop Surgery' Vinyl LP (1983 Experimental/Minimal)

Year of release: 1983

Working alone at home in Cincinnati, John Bender built these songs from keyboards, analogue sequencers, tape delay and wobbly drum machines. He released it himself, and its dubby, half-buried vocals sound like transmissions from a basement.
