DAVID BYRNE 'Grown Backwards' Vinyl 2LP (2004 Art Rock)

Year of release: 2004

David Byrne sings opera here, duetting with Rufus Wainwright on Bizet's 'Au fond du temple saint' and taking on Verdi, alongside his own string-laden art-pop. 'Glass, Concrete & Stone' is a lovely meditation on what makes a home.
