RADIOHEAD 'The Bends' Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1995

Named after decompression sickness, a nod to rising too fast after 'Creep', this was produced by John Leckie, with a young Nigel Godrich engineering. 'Fake Plastic Trees' was built around one early take of Thom Yorke alone, 'Street Spirit (Fade Out)' became their first UK top-five single, and Stanley Donwood's cover shows a CPR dummy on a TV screen.
