SMOG (Bill Callahan) 'Knock Knock' Vinyl LP (1999 Indie/Alt. Rock)

Bill Callahan wrote most of these driving from South Carolina to Chicago, and Jim O'Rourke helped produce. A small children's choir and a string quartet brighten the sound, and 'Held' and 'Cold Blooded Old Times' are among his best-loved songs.
