CHARLIE MINGUS 'Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus' 180g Acoustic Sound Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1964

Mingus revisits some of his best-loved tunes with a ten-piece band featuring Eric Dolphy, from 'II B.S.', a rework of 'Haitian Fight Song', to 'Better Get Hit in Yo' Soul'. Fierce, swinging and full of brassy, roaring arrangements, it's an ideal introduction to his world.
