FALL 'Slates' Vinyl LP (1981 Post-Punk)

Year of release: 1981

Only six songs long, it catches the band between Grotesque and Hex Enduction Hour, scratchy and sharp-tongued. 'Leave the Capitol' turns a trip to London into a feverish escape plan, and 'Prole Art Threat' mocks spy-thriller paranoia and art-school politics.
