DEEP PURPLE s/t Vinyl LP (1969 Psych/Hard Rock)

Year of release: 1969

The last album with original singer Rod Evans ends with 'April', a twelve-minute suite that blends the band with an orchestra. Elsewhere the swirling keys and Ritchie Blackmore's guitar push their psychedelia toward hard rock.
