BETTY DAVIS 'Crashin' From Passion' RED Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1995

After Island shelved her previous album, Betty Davis cut this in Los Angeles in 1979 with Alphonse Mouzon on drums, Chuck Rainey on bass and the Pointer Sisters and Martha Reeves on backing vocals. It roams from the reggae lilt of 'I've Danced Before' to the funky name-check parade of 'Quintessence of Hip', then sat unreleased for years.
