'FRIDAY THE 13TH - PART 2' Soundtrack (Harry Manfredini) PURPLE/YELLOW Vinyl LP (1981)

Year of release: 1981

The score follows a strict rule borrowed from Jaws: the music only plays when the killer is near. Here that killer is a sack-hooded Jason for the first time, so every creeping cello line and sudden string stab is a warning that he's close.
