'MAD DOCTOR OF BLOOD ISLAND' Soundtrack "CHLOROPHYLL BLOOD" GREEN Vinyl LP (1968)

Year of release: 1969

This Filipino creature feature about a chlorophyll-dripping monster came with a famous gimmick: American cinemagoers were handed 'green blood' to drink and swore an oath before the film began. The music is wonderfully lurid horror exotica, a full orchestra swirling around distant jungle drums and overheated suspense.
