Leipzig's Ensemble Avantgarde, led by Steffen Schleiermacher, recorded these early pieces in 1997 and 1998. 'Four Organs' and 'Phase Patterns' pulse on electric organs and maracas, and 'Pendulum Music' turns microphones and speakers into instruments.
