ALICE COLTRANE 'A Monastic Trio' VERVE 180g Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1968

Alice Coltrane's first album as a leader was made at her Long Island home a year after John Coltrane's death, with his bandmates Pharoah Sanders, Jimmy Garrison and Rashied Ali. It's also where she first played harp on record, its rippling glissandos turning grief into something luminous and spiritual.

Condition: New/Sealed/Mint
