ANDRZEJ KORZYNSKI 'Diabel' (The Devil) Soundtrack Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1972

Andrzej Żuławski's feverish historical horror was banned by Poland's censors for sixteen years. Andrzej Korzyński matched its frenzy with Winicjusz Chróst's psychedelic guitar, then slowed and processed the tapes into a heavy, grinding doom, a wild high point of Eastern European psych.
