ANIMAL COLLECTIVE 'Spirit They're Gone Spirit They've Vanished' GREEN Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 2000

Animal Collective began as Avey Tare and Panda Bear, and this debut, first credited to the two of them and taped on an eight-track in Avey's bedroom, is all childlike wonder and chaos. Piano, clattering drums and yelped, whispered vocals make it a strange fairytale forest of a record.
