BARIS MANCO 'Nick The Chopper' Vinyl LP (1976 Turkish Psych)

Year of release: 1976

Recorded in Belgium with session players linked to Placebo and Mad Unity, this English-language album was Barış Manço's last big push for European stardom. Lush orchestral sections swirl around fuzz guitar and Anatolian melodies, many reworked from his album 2023, on 'Lady of the Seventh Sky' and the title track.
